Kansas State bolstered its running back corps on Monday with the addition of transfer Antonio Martin Jr. The Georgia native, who spent the spring at ULM after playing the 2024 season at Southeastern Louisiana, brings valuable experience to the Wildcats’ offense.
Before his time at Southeastern, Martin spent 2023 at Blinn College and redshirted the 2022 season at Georgia Tech.

During his standout 2024 campaign at Southeastern Louisiana, Martin played in 12 games, starting nine, and racked up 1,228 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.
His impressive performance earned him First Team All-Southland Conference honors, and he was named a finalist for the prestigious Walter Payton Award, given to the top offensive player in the FCS.
Martin finished 12th in the FCS in rushing yards per game, averaging 102.3 yards, and was 14th in total rushing yards.
His most memorable game in 2024 came against Tarleton State, where he rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries, earning Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.
His 206 yards ranked as the 12th most by an FCS player in a single game that season, and his three touchdowns tied for 13th. Martin also posted several other strong performances, including 100-yard games against Eastern Washington, East Texas A&M, and Northwestern State.
In 2023, Martin played at Blinn College, where he averaged 80.4 rushing yards per game, ranking 10th in the NJCAA, and recorded three 100-yard rushing performances.
As a high school recruit, Martin was ranked as the 256th-best overall prospect in the Class of 2022 by ESPN, who also listed him as the 21st-best running back.
He was a first-team all-state selection after rushing for 1,114 yards and 16 touchdowns in his senior season.
Following a successful 9-4 season in 2024, Kansas State will kick off the 2025 season by facing Iowa State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland, on August 23.
