He reportedly sought a lucrative NIL package worth at least \$4 million and a guaranteed starting role before choosing Kansas State, officially withdrawing from NBA Draft consideration after his decision.

Kansas State, coming off a 16-17 season under coach Jerome Tang, will look to rebuild with Haggerty, who previously showed his potential at Tulsa, averaging 21.2 points in 2023-24 after a limited role at TCU.
