After losing several verbal commitments in the 2026 recruiting class last week, Eli Drinkwitz secured a crucial commitment on Friday with SLUH linebacker Keenan Harris.

Harris, who is expected to play linebacker at Missouri but has also seen time at safety and wide receiver, had a standout junior season with 108 tackles (26 for loss), three interceptions, two sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
The Tigers have maintained a strong track record of retaining top in-state talent, and Harris, a consensus four-star recruit and one of Missouri’s top five prospects for 2026, continues that trend.
Following the recent departures of multiple recruits, Harris joins quarterback Gavin Sidwar as one of only two commits so far in the class.

Drinkwitz earned Harris’ commitment over several prominent programs like Oregon, Iowa, Nebraska, and Oklahoma, making this a significant win for Missouri’s recruiting efforts.
While the future remains uncertain in college football’s shifting landscape, Harris’ commitment is a positive sign for the Tigers moving forward.
