Major Breaking: Blue-Chip Recruit Goes In Depth On Decision To Commit To Kansas State Wildcats

Miles Teodecki, a three-star quarterback from Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas, has committed to Kansas State University for the 2026 football recruiting class. After receiving an offer from K-State, Teodecki visited Manhattan and decided to commit shortly after, citing the program’s culture and fit within its offense as key factors in his decision.

Teodecki had a standout junior season, leading Vandegrift to a 6A Division II state championship with a 15-1 record. He threw for 3,290 yards and 48 touchdowns, completing 70% of his passes, and added four rushing touchdowns.

Kansas State’s coaching staff, particularly quarterbacks coach Matt Wells, played a significant role in Teodecki’s recruitment. Wells’ relationship with Teodecki before offering him was instrumental in the swift commitment process.

Teodecki chose Kansas State over offers from several programs, including Yale, Brown, Cornell, Penn, Princeton, Harvard, FAU, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, UTSA, Texas State, Fordham, North Texas, Cincinnati, UTEP, and Wyoming.

With Teodecki’s commitment, Kansas State strengthens its 2026 recruiting class, adding a talented quarterback who fits well within the team’s offensive scheme. His decision reflects the program’s growing appeal and success in attracting top-tier talent.
