The Missouri Tigers took a significant step forward in building their 2026 recruiting class on Saturday, landing a verbal commitment from standout wide receiver Jabari Brady out of Pompano Beach, Florida.

The news was first reported by On3’s Hayes Fawcett and later confirmed by Brady himself on X, formerly Twitter. Brady becomes the latest high-profile addition to head coach Eli Drinkwitz’s growing 2026 class, which also includes four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar and four-star linebacker Keenan Harris.
With his commitment, Missouri adds another dynamic playmaker to its offensive arsenal and continues to build momentum heading into a crucial summer recruiting stretch.

Brady, a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, is currently ranked as the No. 45 wide receiver and the No. 271 overall recruit in the country.
A rising senior at Monarch High School, he brings elite athleticism, versatility, and proven production to the table. Despite receiving offers from several national powerhouse programs — including Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, and Miami — Brady ultimately chose Missouri, citing a strong connection with the coaching staff and a belief in the Tigers’ long-term vision.
His decision to commit to Missouri over such a competitive field is a major recruiting win for the Tigers, who continue to battle for national attention in a deep SEC recruiting landscape.
On the field, Brady has proven to be a game-changing presence. During his junior season, he recorded 485 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in just seven games, showcasing his ability to create big plays and impact the game vertically.
However, it was his sophomore year that truly put him on the radar as a top-tier recruit. That season, he hauled in 70 receptions for 1,392 yards and 10 touchdowns, emerging as one of the most dangerous receiving threats in the state of Florida.
In addition to his offensive production, Brady has also contributed on the defensive side of the ball, playing as a defensive back. Over the past two seasons, he totaled 43 tackles and three interceptions, further demonstrating his athletic range and football IQ.
Brady made his official visit to Columbia on May 30, and the timing of his commitment is particularly important as Missouri enters a pivotal stretch in its 2026 recruiting efforts.
According to Rivals, the Tigers hosted 10 players for official visits this past Friday, with 11 more scheduled to visit on June 20. While Missouri still lags behind several SEC programs in terms of total 2026 commitments, the program appears to be building momentum as the summer heats up.
Brady’s early commitment could serve as a catalyst for additional high-level recruits to take a closer look at what Mizzou has to offer.
The Tigers are still actively targeting other wide receivers to complement Brady in the 2026 class. Among their top targets are four-star prospect Mason James and three-star standout Deyvon Hill-Lomax.
Adding one or both alongside Brady would significantly bolster Missouri’s receiving corps and give the Tigers a well-rounded group of pass-catchers for the future.
With Brady now on board, Missouri is sending a clear message that it intends to compete for elite talent — not just within the SEC, but on a national level.
