Breaking: Missouri Secures Another Quarterback Boost for the 2027 Class

December 5, 2025

The Missouri Tigers just added another major building block to their future, locking in a significant quarterback commitment that strengthens an already promising foundation for the 2027 recruiting class.

Following early momentum on the trail, Mizzou has now secured the pledge of Braylen Warren, a rising three-star quarterback from Omaha Westside High School in Nebraska. Warren, who has long been on the Tigers’ radar, becomes one of the first pieces of what Missouri hopes will be a standout class.

Warren announced his decision publicly on Thursday, posting a confident message declaring Columbia his new home. The commitment immediately energized Mizzou fans who have watched Warren’s development closely over the past two seasons.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound quarterback has been a consistent standout at Omaha Westside, bringing both production and leadership to the program. Last season, he delivered 1,847 passing yards on 202 attempts, added 27 touchdown passes, and guided his team to a 10–2 record. His sophomore campaign saw him eclipse the 2,000-yard mark, signaling early on that he was a rising name among Midwest quarterbacks.

Missouri’s coaching staff targeted Warren early and made him a priority, hosting him on multiple visits and building a strong relationship that ultimately led to Thursday’s commitment. With offers from Florida State, Iowa, Cincinnati, and Illinois, among others, landing Warren represents a meaningful recruiting win for the Tigers.

Why Warren Matters

Missouri has emphasized quarterback stability as it looks to build long-term offensive continuity. Adding Warren gives the program a promising, smart, and accurate passer whose playstyle aligns with the system Missouri aims to run in the coming years.

With the 2026 class nearing completion, Warren’s commitment shifts the focus forward and gives the Tigers a crucial head start on assembling their 2027 group.

More updates on Warren and Mizzou’s evolving 2027 class will be released as evaluations continue and offers expand.
