Missouri Tigers standout running back Ahmad Hardy has been officially recognized as one of the TIME 100 Most Influential People, marking a milestone that celebrates his influence both on the football field and beyond.
Hardy, who broke Missouri’s single-season rushing record in 2025 with over 1,600 yards, has been a dominant force in college football. His combination of elite athleticism, leadership, and dedication has not only elevated the Tigers’ program but also inspired fans, teammates, and aspiring athletes nationwide.
The TIME 100 list honors individuals whose achievements, vision, and impact extend beyond their profession, and Hardy’s inclusion underscores the growing influence of student-athletes in sports and culture.
“Being named to TIME 100 is truly an honor,” Hardy said. “I’m grateful to my coaches, teammates, and the Missouri community for supporting me. This motivates me to continue striving for excellence on the field and making a positive impact off it.”
Head coach Eliah Drinkwitz praised Hardy’s role in shaping the program’s culture. “Ahmad is more than a phenomenal athlete — he’s a leader and role model. His influence stretches far beyond the game, and TIME 100 recognition reflects that perfectly.”
Hardy’s accolades already include Consensus All-American honors and record-breaking performances, and his recognition by TIME 100 further cements him as one of college football’s most influential figures. He is expected to return for the 2026 season, continuing to lead Missouri’s offense and inspire the next generation of athletes.
