Kansas State football coach Collin Klein has made his first addition via the NCAA transfer portal, landing defensive back Keshawn Davila from Arkansas. Davila is the first player to commit to K-State during the 2026 transfer cycle.
The 6-foot-1, 165-pound senior appeared in 12 games last season for the Razorbacks, recording two tackles and two pass breakups as a cornerback. He also brings a connection to K-State’s coaching staff: defensive backs coach Marcus Woodson, who tutored Davila at Arkansas, recently joined the Wildcats.
Before Arkansas, Davila was a standout at Northwest Mississippi Community College, posting 35 tackles and two interceptions as a freshman and 23 tackles with three interceptions as a sophomore, demonstrating his ability to make plays in the secondary.
Originally from Tampa, Florida, Davila’s arrival gives K-State a boost in the defensive backfield as the Wildcats look to strengthen their roster for the 2026 season. The team continues to pursue other experienced transfers to complement incoming talent.
Davila’s commitment highlights the Wildcats’ strategy of combining experienced transfers and developing talent under Coach Klein as they prepare for a competitive Big 12 campaign.
