East Carolina has added another offensive weapon through the transfer portal, as Furman wide receiver Ja’Keith Hamilton has officially committed to the Pirates, strengthening ECU’s receiving corps ahead of the upcoming season.
Hamilton transfers to Greenville after a productive stint with the Paladins at the FCS level. Known for his size, physicality and ability to make plays downfield, he brings proven experience and versatility to the ECU offense.
During his time at Furman, Hamilton emerged as a reliable target in the passing game, consistently contributing as both a possession receiver and a vertical threat. His performance at Furman made him a sought-after portal addition as he makes the jump to the FBS level.
Hamilton’s commitment continues a busy transfer cycle for head coach Blake Harrell and the Pirates, who have focused on adding experience and depth at key positions.
