ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Williams carries a “do not contact” tag and that his agreement with Washington was near the top of the market for the 2026 offseason. LSU, led by incoming head coach Lane Kiffin, has surfaced as one program to monitor in the Williams situation. Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger later added that an unidentified school may have contacted Williams after he signed with Washington, further complicating matters.

He began his college career at Penn State before transferring to Missouri, where he gained starting experience in the SEC.
