Kansas State has locked in another major piece of its roster for the 2026 season, as wide receiver officially announced his return to Manhattan.
Jaron Tibbs, a 6-foot-2, 212-pound junior, will finish his college career with the Wildcats, giving first-year head coach Collin Klein a proven and reliable weapon on offense. His return adds continuity to a unit that will also feature returning quarterback Avery Johnson and running back Joe Jackson.

After transferring from Purdue ahead of last season, Tibbs quickly emerged as one of Kansas State’s top receiving threats. He finished the year with 47 receptions for 595 yards and three touchdowns, serving as the team’s No. 2 wideout and delivering consistent production throughout the season.
Tibbs recorded at least one catch in every game and posted his best performance against Baylor, hauling in six receptions for 80 yards. With his decision to return, Kansas State retains an experienced playmaker as it transitions into a new era under Klein and prepares for the 2026 campaign.
