JUST-IN: Mizzou Adds Mill Valley Standout to Roster as Preferred Walk-On

Missouri has added offensive standout from Mill Valley High School to its roster as a preferred walk-on under head coach Eli Drinkwitz. The 6-foot, 175-pound athlete is expected to bring versatility and playmaking ability to the Tigers’ offense.

Blake Jay spent most of his senior season at quarterback, completing 55 of 104 passes for 862 yards and eight touchdowns. He also rushed for 1,531 yards and 24 touchdowns, demonstrating the dynamic skill set that makes him a valuable addition to Missouri’s program.

While he primarily played quarterback in high school, Jay will be listed as an athlete at Mizzou, giving the coaching staff flexibility to use him at multiple offensive positions. His athleticism and versatility provide depth and options for the Tigers’ offense heading into the 2026 season.

Missouri’s recruitment of Jay continues the program’s tradition of bringing in local talent from the Kansas City area and central Missouri, strengthening ties with high school programs in the region.
