The South Carolina Gamecocks have secured Bucknell transfer, a 6-foot-8, 300-pound offensive lineman with three years of eligibility remaining, beating out offers from multiple Big 12 programs including Kansas and Stanford.
Dara Adeyemi, who spent his first two seasons at Bucknell on the defensive line before transitioning to offensive line last season, is expected to provide immediate depth and versatility to South Carolina’s rebuilding O-line. He appeared in 13 games on defense and five games on offense during his Bucknell career.
The lineman’s size, athleticism, and ability to play multiple positions made him one of the most sought-after transfers in the country, attracting attention from top Power Four programs like Alabama, Auburn, Cal, Kansas, and Stanford.

South Carolina’s coaching staff prioritized the offensive line in the transfer portal, aiming to add experienced players to a unit that has seen significant turnover ahead of the 2026 season. Adeyemi’s commitment addresses a critical position of need for the Gamecocks.
With Adeyemi now on board, South Carolina adds a towering presence to its offensive line, boosting depth, competition, and talent as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
