The South Carolina Gamecocks are looking to rebound after a disappointing 4-8 season, and they made a notable addition to their offense on Saturday with the signing of wide receiver from Holy Cross, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Charly Mullaly played three seasons at the FCS program, appearing in 18 games and totaling 333 receiving yards. In 2025, he caught 17 passes for 189 yards and 1 touchdown across five games. He first broke out in 2024, recording 8 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown after primarily contributing on special teams as a freshman.

The New Jersey native set high school records at Peddie School in Hightstown for single-season receiving yards and touchdowns. Now, Mullaly faces the biggest challenge of his career, stepping up from the Patriot League to the SEC. South Carolina hopes the talented receiver can adapt and contribute immediately as Shane Beamer works to rebuild the roster for 2026.
Mullaly preserved a redshirt in 2024, leaving him with two years of eligibility remaining. He joins a growing list of offensive additions, including NC State transfer Jaccarius Peak, as the Gamecocks aim to strengthen key positions ahead of the new season.
