PJ Haggerty will miss at least one game for the Kansas State Wildcats men’s basketball after aggravating an undisclosed injury that has been bothering him for about a month.

Haggerty was seen in street clothes during the team’s pregame warmups before their matchup against West Virginia at Bramlage Coliseum, and interim head coach Matthew Driscoll confirmed that the injury worsened in recent days, forcing him to sit out the contest.

Driscoll added that the plan is to give Haggerty several days of rest in hopes that he can return for the team’s final regular-season game against Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball on Saturday, followed by the Big 12 Tournament the next week in Kansas City.

Haggerty has been Kansas State’s most productive player this season, averaging 23.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game while serving as the team’s primary offensive leader.
