Originally drafted 38th overall by the San Antonio Spurs, he was traded to Memphis before being waived and spending the following three seasons in the G League, most recently with the Delaware Blue Coats.

This season in the G League has been Chandler’s best yet, averaging 20.4 points and 9.6 assists per game, the latter leading the league. His performance earned him a call-up with the Jazz, giving him a fresh chance to prove himself at the NBA level.

During his single season at Tennessee, Chandler was named second-team All-SEC and earned SEC All-Freshman honors. He also shined in the 2022 SEC Tournament, taking home Most Outstanding Player honors as Tennessee defeated Texas A&M 65-50 in the championship game.

With this 10-day deal, Chandler has a new opportunity to showcase the skills that once made him one of Tennessee’s brightest stars, aiming to translate his G League dominance into an NBA impact.
