He is considered one of the top players available in the transfer portal, ranking as a five-star recruit, the No. 1 power forward, and the No. 2 overall transfer in the 247Sports rankings this offseason.
While securing him would be a major win for the Wildcats, it could also come at a steep cost.
According to 247Sports analyst Isaac Trotter, the forward is expected to command a multi-million dollar NIL deal if he returns to college, potentially around $6 million at Kentucky or even more.
“It’s hard to turn down $6 million, and I think he’ll be in that range,” Trotter said. That figure is well above his On3 NIL valuation of $2 million, which already ranks among the highest in college basketball.

On the court, however, he has proven his value, appearing in all 37 games last season for Iowa State while averaging 16.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and one assist, shooting 50.6% from the field and 48.7% from three-point range.
With the NBA Draft withdrawal deadline approaching, Kentucky has limited time to secure his commitment, and must weigh whether he is worth the massive financial investment.
