Kansas State football is preparing for roster changes as two key Wildcats—defensive end Tobi Osunsanmi and offensive lineman Devin Vass—have announced they will enter the NCAA transfer portal ahead of the 2026 season.
Tobi Osunsanmi, a 6-foot-3, 250-pound junior from Wichita, has been a standout on the defensive line over his four seasons in Manhattan. He totaled 39 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles during his time with K-State. Osunsanmi had a strong 2025 campaign, leading the team with four sacks midway through the season, before suffering a season-ending injury. He expressed gratitude for his coaches, teammates, and the K-State community in a social media post.

Devin Vass, a 6-foot-6, 309-pound sophomore offensive lineman, started multiple games at right guard, helping the Wildcats finish 6-6 in 2025. His blocking was key to the team’s late-season push and showed his potential as a versatile contributor in the Big 12.
Additionally, junior linebacker Ralph Ortiz, who saw limited playing time this season, also plans to transfer, joining a growing list of K-State players entering the portal. With the transfer window opening in early January, the Wildcats now face the challenge of filling key positions while maintaining competitiveness in the conference.
These departures mark a significant roster shakeup for Kansas State as the program looks ahead to the 2026 season.
