Wildcats Get Big Boost: Top Kansas State Wideout Returns to Anchor Collin Klein’s Offense

Kansas State is keeping some offensive firepower intact as Collin Klein prepares for his first season as head coach. Junior wide receiver has announced he will return to Manhattan for another season, giving the Wildcats a proven playmaker to build around.

A 6-foot-2, 212-pound pass-catcher, transferred from Purdue last season and immediately became a key contributor. In 2025, he hauled in 47 catches for 595 yards and three touchdowns, establishing himself as the team’s reliable No. 2 option behind now-departed Jayce Brown. He caught passes in every game, including standout performances against Baylor, North Dakota, Army, and Kansas.

Alongside quarterback Avery Johnson and running back Joe Jackson, Tibbs forms one of the few familiar offensive pillars returning to K-State, providing stability as Klein implements his system.

The Wildcats also bolstered the offensive line with Chase Duarte, a 6-foot-5 guard transferring from San Diego State, following new line coach Mike Schmidt to Manhattan.

With these pieces returning, K-State fans have reason to be optimistic about a smoother transition under Klein while maintaining key weapons in the passing game.
