Mizzou Football continues to bolster its roster even after spring practice has concluded, turning to the transfer portal to add key defensive line depth.
Defensive lineman Mark Hensley from Northern Illinois has officially committed to Missouri, as reported by ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Hensley, an interior lineman, tallied 32 tackles last season, including 5.0 tackles for loss and one sack, showcasing his ability to disrupt opposing offenses.
A native of Labadie, Missouri, Hensley’s move to Missouri represents a homecoming, giving him the chance to play close to home while contributing immediately to the Tigers’ defensive front. During his sophomore campaign at Northern Illinois, he started all 12 games, recording a career-high seven tackles in a victory over Ball State.

Hensley, a product of Washington High School in Missouri, adds experience and versatility to Mizzou’s defensive line, addressing depth concerns as the program prepares for the 2026 season.
With Hensley’s commitment, he becomes the 29th addition to the Tigers’ transfer portal haul this offseason, signaling an aggressive effort by Missouri to reshape its roster and remain competitive in the SEC.
