Four-star linebacker Isaac McNeil of Mobile (Ala.) Vigor has narrowed his recruitment to a final four schools—Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia—and announced that he will make his college decision on June 2, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Ranked No. 87 overall and the No. 6 linebacker in the 2027 class by 247Sports, McNeil is currently trending toward Auburn, with the Tigers viewed as the favorite based on On3’s RPM projections and his upcoming visit schedule. He is set to officially visit Auburn from May 29–31 before making his commitment, with additional planned visits to Florida (June 11–13) and Alabama (June 19–21) afterward, though those trips could change depending on his decision.
Florida remains heavily involved but is still searching for its first linebacker commit in the 2027 class despite holding a top-five national recruiting class overall. The Gators continue to pursue several other linebacker targets, including Ja’Bios Smith, Ellis McGaskin, and Drew Williams, as they aim to strengthen the position group during the summer recruiting push.
