The North Carolina Tar Heels have added another piece to their 2025 recruiting class with the signing of Kevin Thomas, a four-star wing prospect.
Thomas is a 6-foot-7 forward from Pennsylvania who played high school basketball at Sagemont Prep in Florida, where he posted strong all-around numbers, averaging 15.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.0 steals in his senior season.
He also played a key role in leading his school to three Class 1A state championships during his prep career.
The versatile wing held offers from numerous major programs, including Florida State, LSU, Miami, Auburn, Kentucky, and Tennessee, but ultimately chose North Carolina after a highly competitive recruiting process.

He joins a growing freshman group as the program continues building under its current coaching direction, adding length, athleticism, and defensive versatility to the roster.

While he is not expected to be an immediate star in the rotation, Thomas is projected to develop behind more experienced players and transfer additions, using his freshman year to grow into a larger role in future seasons.
