Missouri football has bolstered its defensive line with the addition of Bralen Henderson, a former Ohio University defensive lineman, who committed to the Tigers over the weekend. The redshirt senior enters Mizzou with one year of eligibility remaining after entering the transfer portal.
During his four-year stint with the Bobcats, Henderson totaled 51 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He was part of a dominant Ohio defense that helped the team secure its first 11-win season since joining the FBS ranks in 1962. The Bobcats finished top 15 nationally in scoring defense (18.1 PPG allowed) and yards allowed per game (303.1), and they ranked second in the MAC with 35 total sacks in 2024.
A three-star recruit out of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Henderson was lightly recruited by FBS programs and mostly received offers from FCS schools like Army, Dartmouth, and Navy. Now, he’ll wrap up his college career in the SEC, the nation’s premier football conference.

Henderson also continues a growing Pennsylvania-to-Mizzou pipeline developed under head coach Eli Drinkwitz. Other recent additions from the Keystone State include QB Beau Pribula (York), LB Josiah Trotter (Philadelphia), freshman QB Matt Zollers (Royersford), and 2026 QB commit Gavin Sidwar (Warrington).
In NFL-related news, former Mizzou team captain and defensive tackle Kristian Williams signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent, while linebacker Corey Flagg Jr. received a rookie minicamp invite from the Kansas City Chiefs. Williams spent three seasons with Missouri after transferring from Oregon, while Flagg joined the Tigers in 2024 after four seasons at Miami.
