The Texas-based defender originally pledged to Oklahoma but reopened his recruitment as several programs increased their pursuit, including the Huskies under coach Jedd Fisch. The potential addition would mark the second 4-star recruit in the class, joining the state’s top-ranked player, a highly regarded wide receiver from Washington.
