Breaking: Missouri Tigers Suffer Another Major Roster Blow as Colorado Buffaloes Poach Top Talent to Reinforce Interior Defensive Line Ahead of Crucial 2026 Season 🔥

Even though the college football transfer portal has been closed for several months, a large number of players are still searching for landing spots.

Among them is Central Missouri defensive tackle Jaylen Harris, a Division II standout who is expected to visit Colorado soon. According to 247Sports’ Chris Hummer, the 6-foot-3, 315-pound lineman has drawn interest from Deion Sanders’ program.

Harris has multiple FBS offers and remains one of the most productive defensive linemen still available in the portal. Last season, he posted 30 tackles, along with two tackles for loss and two quarterback hits.

Colorado still has a clear need in the interior defensive line after prioritizing lighter edge rushers in the portal. The status of another potential addition, Ezra Christensen—who is awaiting eligibility clarity—also factors into their plans at nose tackle.

If Christensen is not cleared for another season, the Buffaloes would be left with a significant gap inside, making Harris a strong fallback option. However, the program would ideally like to add both players if possible.

An official visit date for Harris has not been confirmed, but it is expected sometime in the coming weeks, which would allow him to get acclimated before summer workouts begin.
