The Chicago Blackhawks have signed goaltender Arvid Söderblom to a two-year contract extension through the 2026–27 season, carrying a $2.75 million annual cap hit.
Söderblom, 25, played in 36 games for Chicago during the 2024–25 campaign, recording a 10-18-7 record with a 3.18 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage — all career bests. He also represented Sweden at the 2025 IIHF World Championship.
Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 180 pounds, Söderblom has appeared in 86 NHL games with the Blackhawks, compiling a 17-52-11 record and a 3.55 GAA.

At the AHL level with Rockford, he has posted a 36-27-7 mark, 2.83 GAA, and .913 save percentage, along with 10 Calder Cup Playoff appearances.
A native of Göteborg, Sweden, Söderblom originally joined Chicago as an undrafted free agent in May 2021.
