Just In: Missouri Tigers Pull Off Shocking Recruiting Win, Beating Powerhouse Programs for Yet Another Explosive Four-Star In-State Playmaker to Supercharge 2027 Class

The Missouri Tigers continued building their 2027 recruiting class by landing four-star wide receiver Chris Harris Jr. out of Lee’s Summit West, according to Rivals.

Ranked No. 341 nationally and the No. 4 player in Missouri by 247Sports, Harris chose Mizzou over major programs like Alabama Crimson Tide, Iowa State Cyclones, and Kansas State Wildcats.

He becomes the fifth overall commitment in the class and the fourth this month for head coach Eli Drinkwitz, joining fellow in-state pledge Jack Brown as one of only two Missouri natives committed so far.

Harris put together an impressive junior season, totaling nearly 2,000 all-purpose yards with 57 receptions for 929 yards, 366 rushing yards on 42 carries, and 15 total touchdowns.

Despite already having a deep wide receiver group heading into 2026, Missouri continues to stack talent at the position, maintaining its strong tradition of producing standout pass-catchers over the years.
