Another Talent Incoming: Missouri Locks in Elite Five-Star Guard to Anchor a Power-Packed 2026 Recruiting Class, Promising to Revitalize the Tigers’ Offense and Boost March Tournament Hopes

Missouri Set to Welcome Star-Studded 2026 Recruiting Class

Missouri is gearing up for one of the nation’s top recruiting classes in 2026, led by five-star guard and McDonald’s All-American Jason Crowe Jr. The California standout, a top-five recruit, is expected to be the centerpiece of a class that could breathe new life into the Tigers next season.

Crowe’s Confidence in Making an Immediate Impact

Even before the season begins, Crowe is already envisioning how he can help head coach Dennis Gates and the Missouri program. “They haven’t had a player like myself,” Crowe told 247Sports ahead of the All-American game. “They’ve had great talent, but I bring something different. Missouri struggled scoring at times this year, and I feel like I can help—not just by scoring, but by making the right plays.”

A Scoring Leader Ready to Elevate the Tigers

Crowe arrives with plenty of confidence that he can help turn Missouri into a more dynamic offensive team. As California’s all-time scoring leader, he brings elite scoring ability, but he also recognizes that success will depend on support from his teammates. The class already includes two other top-100 recruits, and additional talent could arrive via the transfer portal, making the overall roster stronger.

Building Chemistry With Teammates

“Obviously, I can’t be double-teamed as much as I was in high school, so the help side is going to be huge,” Crowe said. “Having guys like Aidan Chronister and Toni Bryant coming in is going to make the game easier for me, and I’m also going to make it easier for them.”

Filling the Void After Mark Mitchell

With the departure of Mark Mitchell, Missouri will need new offensive production, and Crowe looks poised to be the answer. His skill set and leadership could be exactly what the Tigers need to push deeper in March under Gates’ leadership.

Both Crowe and Bryant are set to showcase their talents in the McDonald’s All-American Game in Arizona on Tuesday, providing a glimpse of the impact they could have at Missouri.
