For the second consecutive day, Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers coaching staff have strengthened their 2027 recruiting class by landing another in-state commitment, further building momentum within Missouri’s high school talent pool. This latest addition comes from the Kansas City area and adds another promising defensive piece to the future roster.

The linebacker chose Missouri over offers from Missouri State and Tulsa, while also drawing interest from Power Conference programs such as Iowa State and UCF. Standing out as one of the most productive defenders in his area, Green delivered an impressive junior campaign at Lee’s Summit North, leading the team with 14.5 tackles per game and adding 2.5 sacks per game. His efforts helped push the team to a 6–4 overall record.

With his commitment, Green becomes the eighth overall pledge in Missouri’s 2027 recruiting class. He joins a growing group of in-state prospects that includes tight end Jack Brown, wide receiver Chris Harris Jr., and safety Keiran Govan, signaling a strong early emphasis on local talent development for the Tigers moving forward.
