Virginia Tech Hokies football scored a recruiting win on Monday by landing a commitment from a 3-star interior offensive lineman out of Tennessee, beating out the Kentucky Wildcats football for the talented prospect.
The 6-foot-4.5, 330-pound lineman is regarded as one of Tennessee’s top 2027 recruits, ranking among the nation’s best interior offensive linemen according to 247Sports composite rankings.
Virginia Tech stayed aggressive throughout the recruiting battle after offering late last year, while Kentucky made a strong push following the hiring of head coach Will Stein.
Scouting analysts praise the prospect’s versatility and physical style of play, noting experience at tackle, guard, and center along with impressive strength, mobility, and pass-protection skills.
His background in volleyball, baseball, and defensive line play has further boosted his long-term upside.

During the 2025 season, the standout lineman contributed on both sides of the ball, helping anchor the offensive front while also producing 18 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and a sack defensively.
After missing out on the Tennessee standout, Kentucky will now continue searching for offensive line additions in its 2027 recruiting class.
