Missouri Tigers football has scored a significant transfer portal victory, securing Jacarrius Peak, the No. 1 offensive tackle in the portal rankings, from NC State. Peak brings Power Five experience, versatility across both tackle positions, and immediate starter-level impact to the Tigers’ offensive line.
A seasoned ACC player, Peak started 32 consecutive games over the past three seasons, allowing just 13 pressures and three sacks last season while protecting the blindside. Originally a three-star recruit out of Valdosta, Ga., Peak quickly developed into one of NC State’s most reliable and consistent linemen.
Peak’s arrival addresses a critical need on Missouri’s offensive front, giving head coach Eli Drinkwitz and new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey a battle‑tested tackle capable of improving both pass protection and the run game right away. Lindsey was recently hired to lead the Tigers’ offense and brings extensive experience from multiple Power Five programs.

Ranked as the top offensive tackle in the On3 portal rankings, Peak drew interest from multiple Power Five programs before committing, making this signing a signature acquisition for Missouri’s offseason strategy.
With Peak joining the roster, the Tigers demonstrate a strategic approach in the portal, targeting high-impact transfers who can start immediately and elevate the team’s competitiveness in the SEC.
