The Washington Huskies have made a major addition to their roster, landing Jacarrius Peak, the No. 1 offensive tackle in the transfer portal, from NC State. Peak brings Power Five experience, versatility at both tackle positions, and immediate starter potential, giving the Huskies’ offensive line a significant boost.
A seasoned ACC starter, Peak started 32 consecutive games over the past three seasons, allowing just 13 pressures and three sacks while protecting the blindside last year. The Valdosta, Ga., native joined NC State as a three-star recruit and developed into one of the Wolfpack’s most consistent linemen.

Peak’s addition addresses a critical need on Washington’s offensive line, giving head coach Jedd Fisch and offensive coordinator Jimmie Dougherty a battle-tested tackle capable of elevating both pass protection and the running game.
Ranked as the top offensive tackle in the On3 transfer portal rankings, Peak drew attention from multiple Power Five programs before committing, marking this signing as a signature win for the Huskies’ offseason.
With Peak on board, Washington demonstrates a targeted approach in the portal, prioritizing high-impact players who can start immediately and help the Huskies compete at a high level in the Pac-12 and nationally.
