Falcons’ Hidden Gem on the Move? Giants Stun NFL with Blockbuster Move for Falcons’ Hidden Offensive Weapon?

After two underwhelming seasons in 2023 and 2024, the New York Giants’ offense is under pressure to turn things around in 2025. With Russell Wilson now leading the offense, there’s renewed optimism that the unit could finally take a step forward.

There’s also speculation that the Giants could boost their chances by making a big trade before the season kicks off.

One potential target is Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, who has reportedly drawn interest from several teams across the league, according to Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz. While Atlanta isn’t actively shopping him, it would reportedly take at least a Day 2 draft pick to start serious trade conversations.

Pitts, a former top-five draft pick, has shown flashes of elite talent but hasn’t lived up to expectations yet. Still just 24, he has upside—especially if paired with Wilson, who has a strong track record of maximizing tight end production.

While Pitts would be an exciting addition alongside star receiver Malik Nabers, the cost could be too high for the Giants, who already spent their 2026 third-round pick to trade up for quarterback Jaxson Dart.

The team also has faith in rookie tight end Theo Johnson, whom they expect to develop into a key contributor. With that in mind, New York may hesitate to pursue a high-cost deal for Pitts despite the intrigue it presents.
