Recruiting Shockwave:: Missouri Scores One of Its Biggest Recruiting Wins Yet, Flipping Auburn’s Highly-Touted Four-Star RB Pledge, Auburn’s Recruiting Class Takes Significant Hit

Auburn’s 2027 recruiting class took a hit Monday when Kingston Miles announced he was flipping his commitment to Missouri just weeks after pledging to the Tigers.

The talented prospect had been committed to Auburn and head coach Alex Golesh for a little more than three weeks before changing course.

Miles, a standout athlete from St. Mary’s High School in St. Louis, Missouri, is regarded as one of the top 10 recruits in the state.

A versatile multi-sport competitor, he excels as both a running back and linebacker, producing more than 2,000 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns on offense while adding 62 tackles and 10 tackles for loss on defense during his junior season.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound playmaker made his decision following an official visit to Alabama on Friday and a recent trip to Missouri’s campus in Columbia.

His combination of size, athleticism, and two-way production has made him one of the Midwest’s most sought-after recruits.

With Miles now on board, Missouri adds its 18th commitment in the 2027 recruiting cycle. He also becomes the first running back to join head coach Eli Drinkwitz’s 2027 class, giving the Tigers an important building block for the future.
