“Devastation Strikes Tennessee Vols Again: Another Key Player Lost for the Season

Tennessee has lost some receiver depth after sophomore Joakim Dodson suffered a torn LCL during Saturday’s game against Furman.

Dodson was competing for a role on kickoff returns and handled one return for 45 yards, although the play was wiped out by a penalty.

Dodson previously made a major impact in Tennessee’s Music City Bowl matchup against Illinois, returning a kickoff for a touchdown to keep the Vols in the game.

He was also listed as the backup slot receiver on Tennessee’s initial depth chart released before Saturday’s contest.
