The Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball are continuing to shape their 2026–27 roster with three scholarship spots still open, as the staff balances multiple targets including Malachi Moreno, Milan Momcilovic, and other emerging options.
One new name entering the mix is Savo Drezgic, with reports from Jacob Polacheck of KSR indicating that Kentucky has been in contact with his agent.

Drezgic, who previously spent a season at Georgia in 2024–25 before playing professionally with Mega Superbet, is now exploring a return to college basketball and is expected to draw multiple suitors due to his SEC experience and recent production overseas.
While his brief stint at Georgia produced modest numbers, his time with Mega Superbet was far more productive, as he averaged 16.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game while shooting 41.6% from the field and 35.7% from three-point range.
It remains unclear how aggressively Kentucky will pursue him, but the interest signals that Mark Pope’s staff is actively seeking backcourt help as they work to finalize the roster for the upcoming season.
